How long does it take to install a solar PV system?
Dependent on system size, Novalux can install your solar PV system within 8 weeks of order. Prior to signing contracts we provide a detailed breakdown of each project stage with indicative timelines.
What size system do I need?
The size depends on your energy consumption, available roof space and budget. We perform a detailed analysis that finds the best return on investment for your system — best payback, not biggest install.
What is the payback period for a solar PV system?
The payback period generally ranges from 2–4 years for solar-plus-battery systems, after which the electricity generated is essentially free.
What happens after I receive my quote?
If you would like to proceed, your sales contact visits your site and makes any final adjustments to the scope. Novalux then guides you through planning and grid applications where needed.
What if I don't have 3-phase electricity?
Solar PV can be installed off-grid as a standalone system, with a battery to maximise power usage — or we can support a supply upgrade as part of the project.
Can solar panels be installed on any type of roof?
Most roof types are suitable, depending on condition, angle and orientation. Roofs with asbestos can still take solar PV, assessed case by case.
How much maintenance do solar panels need?
Minimal — periodic cleaning and inspection to ensure optimal performance. Novalux offers long-term maintenance contracts including panel cleaning and drone surveys.
