The project.

81.27 kWp solar PV + 200 kWh battery storage

A 81.27 kWp roof-mounted solar PV system, designed and installed by Novalux around the site's real load profile.

126 x Longi 645W bifacial panels with two Solis hybrid inverters; est. 50,250 kWh/yr; signed December 2025.

Battery storage: 200 kWh (2 x Dyness BF100-C100 outdoor cabinets); capable of off-grid operation. The system replaces on-site diesel generation, so the true savings run well beyond standard grid-price modelling — borehole irrigation now runs full days on zero grid import with the generator on standby.

A multi-site installation across the R.S. Cockerill estate in Yorkshire — 1.07 MWp of solar and 200kWh of storage delivered farm by farm, each one commissioned after the last had proved its numbers, up to a battery at Link Hall that runs the farm off-grid and replaces its diesel generation.
