81.27 kWp solar PV + battery storage

A 81.27 kWp roof-mounted solar PV system, designed and installed by Novalux around the site's real load profile.

Battery storage: 200kWh storage; capable of off-grid operation. The system replaces on-site diesel generation, so the true savings run well beyond standard grid-price modelling — borehole irrigation now runs full days on zero grid import with the generator on standby.

At Providence, the 700kWp flagship system used 610W DAS N-Type bifacial panels with 7 SolarEdge inverters and 680 optimisers, with SolarEdge safety features providing best-in-class fire protection: projected annual ROI of 33.6%, simple payback of 3.26 years and an estimated 127,536 kg of CO2 saved per year.
